Chamber dryers and ovens
Chamber dryers and ovens are used for charge-by-charge drying of a wide variety of products. These dryers are especially suited for large-dimensioned components, some of which need long drying times.
In most cases, these dryers have walk-in chambers. They can be loaded mechanically as well as manually.
Chamber ovens are typically low-maintenance installations. However, special attention must be paid to safety equipment at the time of annual maintenance.
As part of the checks conducted within the framework of Occupational Health and Safety regulations (BGR 500 Chapter 2.28) and DIN EN 1539 maintenance staff will establish whether the chamber oven settings match the needs of the current use case.
For example, if the oven can be operated with a lower air exhaust volume then cost savings can be achieved as a result of lower energy consumption.
We routinely undertake:
- Visual inspection of oven interiors and exteriors
- Adjustment of air vents if necessary
- Inspection of fans for unbalance and proper functioning; Cleaning of rotors if necessary
- Checking for compliance with required minimum airflow volumes in solvent dryers
- Inspection of electrical circuits and safety devices for fault-free functioning
- Inspection of temperature sensors
- Inspection of flow valves for proper functioning and smooth operation
- Inspection and readjustment of door seals
- Inspection of push floors if installed
- Issue of inspection logs
We especially undertake:
- Temperature recording in the payload area with data loggers
- Temperature recording on products with data loggers
- Issue of measurement logs
